Hybrid Solar-Thermoelectric Power Generation System

To solve over-heating, which reduces conversion efficiency in Photovoltaics (PV), our team combined PV and Thermoelectric (TE) to develop a hybrid system. Solar beam is concentrated by Fresnel lens on the surface of PV and TE module is attached on its backside to generate extra electricity. Commercial solar cells and TE module are utilized, and a best hybrid system is designed and built.
